WINNER OF THE GPHG
In november 2021 won Christiaan van der Klaauw Astronomical Watches de meest prestigieuze horlogeprijs in de wereld, de Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), De ‘Oscars’ van de horlogewereld en horlogemakerij. De prijs werd in ontvangst genomen door de eigenaren en creative directors van CVDK in 2021: Daniël Reintjes en Maria Reintjes.
De GPHG Calendar and Astronomy Watch Prize werd toegekend aan hun CVDK Planetarium Eise Eisinga horloge. Dit horloge bevat het kleinste mechanische Planetarium ter wereld, dat in real-time de banen van Mercurius, Venus, Aarde, Mars, Jupiter en Saturnus om de Zon toont.
